Great Rates! We had full hook ups! Clean bathroom and shower! The campground also has tent camping! Pet friendly! Mike is a honest man!
We stayed here for 2 months and a week or so. We have a 40' 5th wheel and 2 vehicles, 1 ton Chevy 4x4 3500 dually and a Dodge 4x4. Plenty of room. It is so quiet here. All you hear is the birds, the wind blowing through the leaves or Maxx because he has done his business and wants to return to eat. L0L Mike, the owner, is so nice!! He or his girls bring the mail. Mike keeps the place looking nice! There is a hidey hole in the bathhouse/laundry room. Oh, I didn't use any of those. Real happy about the hidey hole situation. Haha I did check out the bathhouse/laundry and everything was super clean and kept real nice. Met some real nice folks while staying there. There are State parks all over out here. Close to town but not too close. We saw a Northern Flicker, numerous dove, woodpeckers, robins, orioles, pheasant, deer, buffalo, but thankfully no children in the corn. Oh, also a cluster dragonflies and a kaleidoscope of butterflies!!! The butterflies hang in clusters from the trees. It was amazing!! We had just left Florida. So to say that Mike's reasonable rates were appreciated would be an understatement. Thank you Mike, Angi & girls for a wonderful stay.
What a perfect place to spend the night on a road trip! Tent sites for $10 can’t be beat, and the shower and bathroom is very clean and well taken care of. Very quiet area in the middle of farmland. The sky is beautiful at night.
Hands down the best campground I've ever been too, far out in the country, very shaded area for tents, bathhouse with shower is beautiful and clean, and owner Mike is a stand up guy. Unbeatable price.
Others may say the same but its true. This is a quiet place on a gravel road out in the country. It can be dark. It is quiet. See the night sky. You can't hear the interstate. Great camping. I stopped in for a night on a long road trip in my little RV. Full service campground for a great price. One of the top 3 stops of the trip and I was travelling for 7 weeks. I marked this as a favorite on my google map for future trips through the area.
