Nice campground with clean sites and restrooms. Really cool glacial geology. Only concern is the speed that people drive in the campground. Although speed bumps have been installed, drivers are still going overly fast. Have kids who want to ride bikes or if you want to go for a walk? Be cautious. We were in site 50, right at the exit/entrance. I wouldn’t recommend this site because of driver’s speeding.
Beautiful location on this rare natural lake. Skyline drive with great views. All size campsites. Water available. Close to Pinedale for gas and groceries. Nice and informative host. Clean vault toilets. Only negative is too many unleashed dogs.
We had a wonderful time at Fremont Lake! The campground was clean, easy to set up our 35 ft. T. trailer. Nice big picnic table, fire pit. Nice clean beautiful beaches. Close to Pinedale for groceries, music shopping.Short scenic drive up the mountain range to find trails, other lakes and Wind river mountain range views. So much to do we want to go back.
Great location with amazing views a bit on the small size for tent sites and a beach not to far.
Camlsites in the back section were nicely spaced out. Beautiful lake. Not too crowded. Great kayaking spot - just go early before the boats and jet skis start to get on the lake. Found a great cove with a weathered dock on the other side of the lake.
