Loop A - site 2. Great campground, beautiful surroundings, and many full hook-up sites. But, do not stay at site #2 unless you are just looking for a parking space for your camper. There is no room for the picnic table. Someone placed it at the end of the parking pad, right next to site 55's sewer hook up. The fire pit is very close to the road. There is an electric box and 2 yellow poles on the site. No where to relax except in your camper. No grass just mud and dirt . There are 2 lakes for fishing and canoeing, but no swimming in them. They have a giant pool available for use with a $13 charge to enter.

Mid Oct 2020. Loop D site # 4. We camp at French Creek once or twice a year. It's a great family campground. Loop D is the only loop with no electric hook ups, so overall it is mainly tents. This time we stayed at site 4. I would say it competes with 6 for the best site in the campground. It is big, flat, and has plenty of room for more than one tent, along with trees for tarp and string light hanging. It is nice to walk or bike thru the 4 loops, and of course the hiking at French Creek is abundant. We went in a new direction this time, to a new boulder peak and it was a very nice hike. There was unusually little park ranger drive-by activity this trip, generally you see them a number of times throughout the day and evening. We did have our first encounter with a raccoon visitor at nite which was a good reminder to store our food in the car which we have gotten last about. We have never had trouble or a bad time at FCSP and will be back soon.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, and cozy. Our family come here at least five times a year. Reasonable price for a decent camping lot. Electric area is the best!

Nice campground was fine for price . Need to level the site better and make bigger had to turn car sideways to fit in spot . Bathrooms need more upkeep inside the same spiderwebs with their spiders were there the whole two weeks I was. It looks like they just look inside and didn't do anything to clean them. Camp host was great and the place was beautiful so I guess you can Overlook some little things. Will be back again next year hope to same spiders aren't there . Lake was beautiful and park was lovely.
