Nice park with full hook ups and paved spots. Site 22 in loop A was level. Website says 50 amp connection but it actually has 50, 30, 20 amp hook ups. Bathroom was super clean

Fall is a few weeks early this year! Nice playgrounds for the kids, decent restrooms (could be nicer and the showers could be cleaned more often), and nice, courteous campers and camp hosts. Site sizes, levelness, and overgrowth are all over the place. It's a gamble to book a site without seeing it, and the photos of the sites on the booking website are borderline useless (outdated and low-res). We've been to many state parks all over the country. While we've been to many better campgrounds, French Creek isn't too shabby (I grew up nearby). Overall, really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved it! It was very clean and peaceful. The sites are large. We had site 5 in Loop B. It has electricity only but there was a spigot right next to us. There are spigots place all around the loop. There are other loops that have more H/U but we were only here for one night and dumped at the on site dump station. The dump station had 4 dumping areas. Concrete area, a hose is provided and very clean. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this park.

Not enough enforcement to control the other campers. Rude people from out of state. Camps close to each other. Fishing can only be done in an electric boat or canoe. People in other camps with dogs, do not respect other campers who go there to get away from dogs. Horrible experience. Felt like a getto the first night. Car alarms going off. Rv doors slamming. Just the worst camping experience I've ever had in all my 43 years of camping at a state park in PA.

Very nice campground. Most of the sites in loop A (where we stayed) are woodsy and spacious. There are many full hook ups. There are a few drawbacks to me though. We, unfortunately, were booked in loop A - site 2. The ugliest and most useless site in at least the A loop. The fire pit is just a few feet from the road. There is a large electric box thingy. No room for the picnic table. It was placed directly behind the parking pad. No grass, only dirt and with rain, mud. It backs directly up to site 55 water, electric and sewer. Stay at ANY other site! Not site #2! Also, there are 2 beautiful lakes, but you can't swim or float in them. There is a giant pool though. They charge $13 per person to visit it. The campground is definitely worth the visit, just stay at a different site!
