My husband and I were stopped by a winter storm and I5 was shut down. We contacted Friendly’s RV park and my husband talked to Layla. She made sure there was a place for us to park, even came and helped shovel our way out of the gas station we were parked in. When we arrived at the RV park she helped get us hooked up and made sure we were all good. Layla was absolutely amazing!! We can’t thank her enough for all she did for us.
Wonderful little campground. Some have issue with "tandem" parking but it didn't seem to be a problem with us. The staff was very friendly and professional. The grounds are well kept. There are several sites that have shade but ours did not, but that's ok. I would stop back in, if in the area again. FYI... if you need any welding done, contact Jesse Ramirez Welding, in Mt. Shasta. They are very professional and get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
It’s a Good Sam’s location with pull-through sites, so we didn’t have to unhook. It is conveniently located a short distance off the freeway, big-rig friendly and the staff was very cordial. The park backs up to the Pilot Truck Stop. We thought it was going to bring lots of noise all night long, but it was really quiet after 10pm. Fuel was easy to get because, as a truck stop, the pumps are designed for semi trucks.
Not a big fan of tandem parking for trailers here. Two rigs that “should” fit, according to the attendant, did not and even if had gone ahead, the back unit could not have maneuvered out without us moving forward/leaving first. Bathrooms were marginal. Site itself was clean, great view of Shasta, amenities close by.
Just a one night for us at Friendly Rv easy check in the site was clean only has 30 amp for where we parked but it worked fine it is close to amenities for fuel, groceries and restaurant
