The staff/owners were amazing and so nice! They made the reservation and check in process quick and easy! They have created a very welcoming environment! I was surprised by the prices in their on site store, they want to provide items without charging more than they are worth. Even on Labor Day weekend the campground remained quiet and relaxing! My kids had a blast fishing on the lake, swimming at the pool, and playing on the playground! We will be back!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Bath house is nice and clean. Overall grounds are clean and they even pick up your garbage every day. The WiFi is perfect. Campsites are tight, but full hookup very easy. If you're not buddy camping, you are sharing the common space. To no fault of their own, the location right next to the highway causes ALOT of noise when you are trying to sit outside next to the campfire. Didn't bother us inside camper because had fan running. Recommend camp sites next to lake which are further from the highway.
We stay on Site #66 (50/30 amp-back in). We also had family on site 67, 65, and 63. Our stay was from October 17-20, 2024. This campground is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites are clean and leveled, the fire pit was in the perfect location and bigger than we thought, also newer picnic tables which is a plus. The bathhouse is clean ( only change I would make is taller doors, being tall I felt like I could look at everyone walking past the stall.) We loved the fishing pond. The playground and dog park was clean and was perfect for our kids and dogs. They did have events that sounded really fun and inviting however we spent most of our time at the state park and in town. The Wifi worked great for my kids to work on their school work. Last thing I would like to add is the staff is very friendly and you can tell cares a lot about their park.
We stayed here for our weekend getaway. We camped with my in-laws. Having the buddy site options were the best I have ever seen! It was so nice not to have to travel back and forth between campers as we were parked with our doors facing each other. The check process was quick and easy too. The people there were very friendly.
The owners of this campground were quick to help when I needed to adjust the site we had reserved. Patty (I think was her name) actually called me to be sure she understood where we wanted to camp. The sites are tight, but it is full hook up and in the very best location to explore Brown County. We've camped here several times and will return again some day.
This was our first time at the campground. My wife and two children (17 & 12) all went. When we arrived, we were met at the check-in counter with a friendly smile and easy check-in process. The cabin had a full bed and a bunk bed inside, with A/C. The cabin was very clean and set next to the lake. We all enjoyed being able to walked out the door and straight to the water without having to pass through other campsites. The fishing was good, and the kids had a great time catching and releasing the ones they caught. We will definitely return.
My husband and I met our great Friends for a long weekend of Buddy Camping. The staff was so very nice and helpful. It was a rainy weekend but we still enjoyed ourselves. The lake was pretty and they had live music and it's across the street from a Winery. We had fun there also. It's a short drive into town where there's shopping and restaurants. It's a nice place to stay!
The owners were really nice and friendly. The campground was quiet and clean! My husband caught a lot of fish on their lake. It’s right off the main road and is 10 mins from downtown Nashville, IN. The camp sites are definitely closer than I like.
We recently reserved 2 nights at this park and ended up staying 4. Our site, #16, a pull thru was conveniently located across from the bathhouse. The gravel parking area was extremely level and surrounded by grass and trees. The onsite owners and staff were very accommodating to our needs. This location is very convenient to both Brown County State Park 5 minutes and Nashville at 10 minutes. Our 2 Golden Doodles loved the large fenced dog park. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay for a while. Nice and level spot for the camper. Grounds are well kept. Caught a few bass in the lake. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. Just five minutes or so from Nashville.
