I've stayed at this campground a few times because we have friends that were seasonal campers there. We choose to stay in campsites near our friends as that is the reason we go. The management staff lives at the campground and constantly drives the golf cart and kubota back and forth from their site to the store or somewhere else in the campground. It is very annoying, they drive fast and it throws up so much dust. I understand that things happen and they may have to attend to them but when I say constantly I mean constantly! It becomes impossible to eat outside because of the dust. There has to be a better solution than the constant back and forth that annoys campers. On our last visit the grass was so tall it tripped you. On Saturday late morning they decided to mow the grass and mowed our site while we sat under our awning. We couldn't even have a conversation until he was finished. He went over it several times to make sure it was mulched good because it had been so long so he did a good job, but why on a Saturday? The weather had been great all week so that couldn't be an excuse. On a previous visit we paid extra for a new full hook up site (with sewer) but the sewer pipe was UPHILL from our camper so we couldn't even use it. As we all know sh*t doesn't flow uphill. So we paid extra for what?? On their public Facebook page they advertised a Halloween Dinner, Party & Live Music, please bring a dish to pass. We thought this would be a great event and were told dinner was at 5:30pm. We walked in a little before 5:30 and had to sit there for 45 minutes before we ate listening to the "season end meeting". Several times heard how "weekenders" do not matter. Events are not for "weekenders". Wait that's not true, events are for "some" weekenders if they are certain people. Why advertise an event on the public social media page if it's not for everyone? How uncomfortable to sit there as a "weekender". We camp at several campgrounds and any event that is advertised is for EVERYONE that is at the campground that weekend. I have never felt so unwelcome! I was at the lodge a couple of times over my weekends there and the bathrooms at the lodge were backed up every time, makes one wonder if they were that way all season? This was the only campground around that was not sold out for holiday weekends! All of the people that I went there to see have now left at the end of this season, and I don't blame them. Most for the reasons I stated above and so many more. I will say that I have had personal conversations with the management team there and they have been helpful with making reservations and check-in. I'm sure they are very nice people. Locally, there was so much hope that this campground would be improved when it was purchased as there is so much potential, but unfortunately, just the opposite has happened. That is evident in the loss of seasonal campers, not being sold out on holiday weekends, and what I heard with my own ears. Hopefully things get straightened out and this campground gets back to what it once was.

The park is nice but the water pressure was under 20 lbs and the park maintenance said no one has ever complained. The water trickled out of our shower. We travel full time and have at least 40lbs psi everywhere. Also, they have installed white plastic fence post everywhere that looks nice but to make the tight turn to leave the park in a 43 ft 5th wheel was impossible without running over a post. I had to remove the post myself since there were no maintenance guys on duty in order to get out of the park.

Not the worst place we've camped, but it definitely needs some improvement. The pool was really nice and well maintained, but the bathrooms need some work. There is new tile on the floor and in 1 bathroom which is nice, but there were no funtioning lights in the showers so it was very dark and hard to see ( maybe that's why there was a dirty washcloth and razor in their for 2 days). Our site was also very small and right on the road across from the noisy pool.

Came here for a vacation with friends. We chose this sport for its proximity to Batavia N.Y. to allow us to spend time with a friend who lives there. The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff is friendly and attentive. Javi and Ally are amazing managers and work hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We were escorted to our site and had some guidance backing in. There was a loose wire in the electric box and javi arrived in minutes to assist. Most of the seasonal campers were friendly and eager to brag about the campground. We only had one issue with a person that kept short cutting through our campsite with no apologies or permission. When we notified the staff, they were very responsive. They had live music on Saturday that we enjoyed very much. We would absolutely stay here again. The only con was the ground at the sites. It was a challenge to get leveled due to holes and uneven terrain. Overall, one of the best weekends we have had in a long time. Kudos to the staff for all their hard work.

I’ve been coming to this campground for over 10 years with many changes along the way. Frost Ridge is my second home in the summer. I love the laid-back, chill atmosphere and camp neighbors who have become family. I am a music lover, so having local bands and becoming a rockstar on Friday nights at karaoke, well, there’s just nothing like it!
