Funland Resort

I saw a lot of negative reviews about this resort. I spent the night there with my daughter and two granddaughters on Sunday night. It’s a CABIN. I did not expect a 5 star hotel! It was very clean. Beds had fresh linens and very comfortable to sleep on. There is no AC and we were aware so we brought our own fans! It was a hot night but with windows opened and fans going we each had a great sleep! I would definitely stay there again!

No air conditioning or a fan in the cabin so we had to suffer the heat ALL night. It never cooled down especially with it being hot outside in the summer. Area looks like a set for a horror movie lol. Somehow slugs and whatnot were getting in through the windows with them closed. Not horrible but adding air conditioning or even a fan would be wonderful. Checked out the pool area and the park they have outside of it is very worn down. Any kid could easily get hurt on it. There was swimming trunks, socks, and garbage left around on the ground with nobody there. Didn’t give it a nice look or feel. Not interested in staying here again lol

Cabin we stayed in was really nice for the price-clean,adequately stocked and plenty of room. Water park was fine,as advertised.However The prices at the take out were a bit out of whack-8 onion rings for $8.99 and $9.99 for 6 wings is outrageous to say the least. For the prices,avoid eating here.

The reception when we arrived was poor and we we waited 15 minutes to be attended while people move around looking unbusy. The RV park where we stayed was dated, heading towards dilapidated, shabby and dirty. We found food waste in the old truck wheel fire pit, there was a pile of rotting deck boards and pallets outside the seasonal trailer on the lot next door together with large garbage bags of old bottles and cans. There was a strong whiff of sewage hanging in the air, the sewer hookup was almost impossible to open up and posts holding the water taps and electric hook ups were rotten. To cap it all, there was a boil water advisory in place. If you read this review and still stay there, don't say you were not warned.

No Wifi in the cabins got to go up by the store or the pub to get it. Play area is dated. But the pool and the cabins are well kept up for the age of the place. Very little to due with kids tho got to go somewhere else.
