We had been looking for a permanent campground just after purchasing our first hybrid TT. When my family and I pulled into this campground we just knew this is where we wanted to be. We have camped here for a little over 2 months and love the place. Yes you pay for the shower but for a quarter you get a clean shower area and guaranteed hot water. We love it.
Fantastic place to park your trailer permanently! Nice quiet park with very friendly neighbors. We tend to be less social, but there is a ton of things to do if you like the group get togethers. Everybody is easy going and nice. Several nice lakes to fish for fun, a new gorgeous in ground pool, game room for kids, wonderful staff. Bill and Jason are extremely helpful at making your stay go smoothly. You won’t regret it! The laid back atmosphere here is fantastic. We’ve been here a few years and plan on many more.
Really beautiful place! We were there 2 years ago. Didn't have a problem. This year check in was great. No problem. As we were leaving, the owner came over and told my husband that he was using too much water to wash out the sewer hose. Said it just cost him $20 worth of water for my husband to wash that hose out. The owner that is. I'm sorry but it did not take no more than a gallon of water to wash that hose out. There is only 30 amp electric and no sewer which is no problem unless the owner decides to harass you. They also don't take debit cards but they will take a check.
This is your grandparents' campground! Forget the fancy amenities, get out to the woods. Swimming lake gate was locked when we arrived, but owner said he'd open it if we wanted. I think we were the only people there besides the owner. Bath house is old, but clean. Pay for hot shower - 25 cents for 7 1/2 minutes. Playground, hiking trails, etc. We were there before Labor Day weekend so not much happening, but that’s what we wanted. Quiet!
Was just doing a drive through after leaving Jeffco camping, looks like a nice place if you have children, lots of play area for the little ones.
