We stayed for 2 nights at Cabin. Clean and well maintained. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are good. There was a laundromat, 2 bathrooms, drinking water and play area. We got to see Bison and Deers next to our Cabin. This campground is right next to the visitor center, general store and wildlife loop. We drove around the park to see other campgrounds and we felt this was the best one in terms of its location and view. I recommend to shop all essentials in nearby town as they have limited options at general store.

Great family style campground. Beautiful and scenic location in the Black Hills. Sites are pretty tight together, but still very nice. The sites along the creek and pond are very nice with shaded trees and nice views and sounds of the creek and pond. The campground has nice and clean bathrooms with flush toliets and showers. There is also a very nice and newer playground for kids to play on. There is swimming in the pond, however it looks pretty stagnant and mucky. We did not swim and never saw anyone else swim on out 5 days we camped. The general store is only a short drive away and is fully stocked with necessities such as groceries, firewood, ice and tons of souvenirs. They also have a little ice cream stand as well. The Custer State Park visitor center is located across the street from the campground as well. Campsite pictured is 53E.
