Gardens Resort

Always a pleasant stay. Beginning to hate the deceitful, lying, crooked owners! They are just out for $$$ and will say or do anything to get all they can! Never built anything as promised past the first building! No plans to do so either. Makes property very unappealing. Sad situation. Not exactly a great area either. Sorry, as are many others, that I actually invested in this web of disgusting lies and greed! For this reason, I will never buy another time share! Thanks for installing so much trust in us! (This is sarcasm!) By the way, what all they describe does not exist! I'll tell you exactly what is on this property; 1 building containing 1 and 2 bedroom units, a laundry room with 1 washer and 1 dryer and a drink machine... think that's it! Oh, lots of resident cats but you're not allowed to bring your own TAME pet! Love the staff, though! Can't find pics but that wouldn't really change things! Don't buy into this! May be sold out from under you before you know it!! Very sneaky, secretive family of owners... literally mostly family!! Not "family"!!

I have a history with this place starting with its beginnings up until now. when it was a condo offering just being built I almost purchased one to add to my RCI, now a good friend lives here who I visit often. the whole building unit has been recently sold to a national company. so it's future is uncertain at this time. the place is well used and needs some minor maintenance upkeep. the elevators license for use is well expired and I would not use it. the units were designed to be timeshared. that being said they're large spaces units for designed for vacationers with little closet space and large living spaces which is really neat. with a little mowing the Lakeview would be much nicer. the new owner has vacated all the units that they own(non titled,no owner) other units have renters.. none have owner occupancy. at this date the future of this building is in question.

Holy mother of God, this place is RUN DOWN. You'd never know you were driving to a timeshare at all. There's cats living in boxes outside, the registration booth outside is non functional and covered with a blue plastic tarp. Everything outside is over grown. To even get to the parking lot (about 25 spots), you have to drive through the parking lot of some building that's closed down. The insides are nice enough I guess. Nothing to complain about, but nothing premium. A widescreen from 2001. A couple of cheap prints on the wall. It's basically an apartment from ten years ago. The room I saw had carpet not even pinned down and coming up, the sliding door to outside was pretty much non-functional. If you saw The Gardens website, you were probbably like wow it's beautiful. It's a lie. This place is trash and looks very unsafe. It's basically a plain old run down building.

The units are mostly very nice. Spacious one and two bedroom condos. We book them through our timeshare company, RCI. Great views of a lake. Love the views. Nice floorplans, big kitchens. A couple of the units I've seen really need to be fixed up. We asked to be moved from one that was dirty and worn out. All units are starting to show signs of wear. The parking lot is dirty. The staff where you check in have no customer sevice skills. No wifi, seriously. It looks like hell from the street-you'd never know the condos are nice. Housekeeping is very friendly and does a good job. Convenient to downtown and some nice areas but the neighborhood next door is unpleasant . We've stayed here multiple times. It has some really good features and some that really need improvenent.

The units are spacious and fairly clean. Upkeep is lacking and the absence of WiFi takes away from the potential of a higher rating for The Gardens Resort. Renovations and new construction are being discussed. Let's see what happens.
