Beautiful views along the CA Highway 1 coast. This is a must see if traveling in the area, as we were through Big Sur, CA. Stop to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. You won’t regret it! 🤩

As a photographer and nature lover, this is my favorite spot in the Big Sur area! It's almost always accessible from the north (locations further south are often impacted by fires and roadwork) and the views here are amazing. The trails along the coast are pretty easy and there's a short climb up some steps if you want a higher viewpoint - totally worth it! Parking is along the road - just need to watch out for cars if you have to walk across the road since some people drive fast here. There are some portapotties at the base of the canyon trail (opposite side of the road from the trails that go along the coast) but otherwise no official bathrooms. I photograph engagement sessions and elopements at this location frequently!

This trail was the highlight of our trip in Big Sur. It's an easy walk along the coastline. The views were just gorgeous! We went there early July and there was a carpet of yellow flowers and some other wildflowers. I highly recommend this place!
