Customer Reviews
Very nice clean campground with pleasant atmosphere. Cool that it's primitive camping. Bathrooms clean & visitors center is nice. It's on the river but limited accessibility and views due to trees.
This campground was very meh. It's super close to main roads which is great for access, but means that you'll listen to motorcycles ripping up and down the river all night. There were also TONS of kids and dogs when I stayed. This is generally no biggie, but the dogs never seemed to stop barking and kids seemed to scream all night long. If you have a family this is probably a great campground!
its a very cool campground by the river. group camping seperate. fun playground for families. trails. and bring an old book fir the book exchange
I'm sure it's a great place but their campers are rude ... They like to complain about places that they are not even staying at. Please make sure your campers are not giving places they are not even staying at a 1 star review just because they don't like the music being played during the day.
I will be going again, but will not camp near the river. There was a lot of rain in the morning and it flooded our tent spots. The other sites that were higher up didn't have any problems, so your experience really depends on the specific site you choose. The campground is peaceful, just a play ground for the kids. The bathrooms are good, hot water, AC and heat, seemed to be enough stalls for everyone. There is fishing, kayaking, and hiking but not much else. This is a rustic campground and for us, that was a good getaway.
