We had a blast! We are definitely going to come back
The campground itself is great but the amount of bears around every single day is a little unsettling and just keeps you on edge at all hours. Of course they don’t want you but they are very interested in your food. Loved being able to shower for the first time in a week!
We visited and camped here in the middle of the 2023 winter, we managed to find a place to camp. It was on of the best experiences while visiting Lake Tahoe even though there was a ton of snow. We managed to stay warm, get lots of delicious food since markets were nearby. The next day after a long night of snow our car got stuck so we had to wait for the stat park to plow the snow and help us get out. Thanks to Sierra District State Park management.
Loved this campground! 😍 Will definitely go back. It's a close walk to the lake and beautiful. Quiet and definitely has the Tahoe feel.
Beautiful, great location close to the beach/lake. Many trails.
