Beautiful boonedocking spot! Water spigot in loop and bathrooms up front. $10 per night. Only one camper there when we cruised thru on June 27, 2022. Nice site with tables and convenient trash cans.
The campground looks pretty cool and is primitive. The reason I gave 3 stars is because it is closed for the season as of September 30 but nothing on the website gives any indication. So be sure before you make a 4.5 hour trip that it is open. Looks like it won't be open until spring again. Which to me is crazy. Fall and the cooler months are the best time to camp. Anyway, I digress.
It is quiet peaceful here. Not everyone is here yet. I enjoy camping at this place
Beautiful place for picnics. Amazing views. They have grills too. And restrooms
Closed for the season when we went by on 19 Oct 21. Area looked great but smelled like overflowing septic tanks.
