Gerometta's Resort

Cannot say enough good things about Gerometta’s Resort in Manistique Mi Family owned and run for many many years. You’re treated like family from the moment you make your reservation. Beautiful setting directly on Indian Lake!! Pristine Cabins, full hook up (we are a 45” had tons of room) large pavilion for games & gatherings, large pool, laundry, bathhouse, boat ramp, fishing bait… the list is LONG! Perfect family vacation location or for us retired folks to enjoy Michigan’s UP summer weather. Sally, her daughter Jennifer & the rest of the family really go the extra mile to assure your visit is perfect!

Amazing place to camp at! We had a great waterside campsite with impeccable service. The owners were very friendly, always there if you needed help, had questions, or to give you ideas of things to do. The pool was very clean, the pavilion to hang out was nice, and the campground was easy to find, maneuver, and set up at. Definitely will book again!

This is an end-of-the-road, old-school camp with cabins and RV spots. It seemed that many of the people knew each other which gave it a small town feel. When we rolled up with our camper a lady broke away from her group to talk to us and called the guy who was in charge of the sites. While we waited, another lady drove up in her cart and, slightly aggressively, asked about us. She seemed exasperated with us, and called the same guy that had already been called. His name was James, and he was flawlessly helpful, exactly the guy you want to meet at a campground. Our kids were so excited to jump in the pool after a long day in the car. This place seems best suited to the families that want a spot to come to again and again.

We were lucky enough to book an RV spot. Very nice. Planning a trip next summer to rent one of their cabins and a pontoon boat.

I don't usually share reviews however, Gerometta's deserves a word. What an incredible experience. It was my families first time in the UP and our stay at Gerometta's made the experience even better. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have wood, ice, bait, and much more right at your fingertips. The fishing was good and the pontoon rental was so fun. My boys and I really enjoyed taking it out on the water. The cabins are clean amd spacious. Very welcoming and safe. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay and feel like you're at home yet still on vacation, this is the place to go. Thank you!
