We stayed here in mid June. The location is probably the best part. We were very disappointed that the pool was not open. It’s why we booked it. The grass was very high in the sites and the septic mound appeared to be leaking onto the pavement. The staff was friendly and helpful but the place itself needs some attention. We will camp elsewhere next time.
Decent campground with clean restrooms. Maintenance could be better on roads and campsites. There are too many long-term campers. Rules aren't enforced on length of stay, firewood, etc.
If I could give zero stars I would, STAY CLEAR of travel resorts of America, me and my girlfriend had 22 nights free after purchasing our camper, we went to Gettysburg and they took us on a sales tour. 4 hours and 3 people trying to convince us to sign up for something that didn’t fit our lifestyle right now. They wasted half of our day, I gave them my credit information to see prices for the membership, they then, without my permission or even writing on the credit card application they offered, opened a credit card using the information I gave for their membership in my name. This is fraud and shows the type of business that owns this place. Please stay clear of this place and never give them any of your information or you’ll be fighting to get a credit card removed you never gave permission for!!
Extremely nice location for camping. Campsites are generally very small. 50% are non sewer sites. Very difficult to make a reservation even as a member only campground. No water this camping trip guess they decided not to turn our section on for whatever reason.
This is my home away from home. Shaded sites close to many activities.? This is an owner resort for TRA, my husband and I work there all summer in the snack bar. I love the fall and Halloween time of year
