Gifford Campground Introduce
Gifford Campground, located at 3579 WA-25, Gifford, WA 99131, is a well-loved destination for RV campers and outdoor enthusiasts. As a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, it provides a range of amenities and access to beautiful lake views and recreational activities.
The campground features approximately 44 spots spread across three different loops, offering a variety of camping experiences. All sites have cement pads, although they may not always be perfectly level, making levelers a useful accessory. The campground has transitioned from a first-come, first-served system to online reservations, which has impacted the availability of prime, shaded spots.
One of the campground's highlights is its access to the lake, making it a popular spot for fishing, particularly walleye fishing. Many campers bring pontoons and moor them at the lake. The campground also offers an RV dump and water spigots for convenience.
Amenities include flush toilets and an outdoor shower, contributing to a comfortable camping experience. While the bathrooms are generally clean, the portable toilets can become dirty after busy holiday periods. A group camp area is available at the end of the campground for larger gatherings.
While the campground offers expansive lake views from most sites, some sites are arranged closely together, which can limit privacy. Additionally, the noise from the ferry can be constant from early morning until late at night. Despite these drawbacks, many campers, including those who have visited for over a decade, appreciate the campground's friendly atmosphere and amenities.

We have been going here for at least 13 years. We love it. We camp with our RV. I have gone with my husband and dogs. Plus my kids and there family. The hosts ( Dennis and Gladys) became our dear friends from the moment we met them. It has about 44 spots in 3 different loops. Recently it has changed from first come first serve to Online reservations only. That made us go a little less since the better and shadier spots get reserved first now. All have cement pads. Hit and miss to get a flat one. But levelers help. The bathrooms are usually very clean. Sometimes the port-a-pottys can get dirty after major holidays. Also a great group camp at the end. Love fishing for walleye in our pontoon that we moor there also.
Nice campground with flush toilets, outdoor shower, paved spots, water spigot, RV dump/water. Access to and expansive views of lake from most spots. However, many sites are arranged such that they are tight with others and lacking adequate privacy/personal area. Also, noise from the ferry is fairly constant from early to late. Stayed in site #13 on a Mon in Aug. Nearly empty campground.
This is one of the premiere campgrounds on Lake roosevelt. There are 47 camp sites, pit and flush toilets, Boat launch, dump station, tent sites, a group site and sites are paved. There are pull thru and back in and most sites wii accommodate larger rv. It is 23.00 dollars per night. It is by reservation only at recreation.com. it fills up fast for weekends. No commercial stores in the area
Clean, quiet, great scenery. Amazing views of the lake. Not flat camping spaces. Boat ramp for multi water levels in Lake Roosevelt.
Camp host kind of ruined the campground. Guy rolled in like barney fife when I started my legal propane fire pit. I had to explain that it was allowed during a burn ban so he would leave me alone. If your gonna act like a cop you should know the law.
Was pretty good camping here. Stayed 1 night. Camp host seemed more concerned with making sure you were out of there at 12pm than all the lose dogs running around off leash. My cat did not appreciate that and stayed on her leash and in her tent most the time for her safety because of it.
