Customer Reviews
We stayed in a Glacier Peak Resort cabin for 2 nights. The location was great, just minutes away from some of the most beautiful scenery on earth in North Cascades National Park. Our cabin was rustic, but very clean. It had a microwave, a toaster oven, a refrigerator, a small kitchen table with chairs, and a coffee maker. Everything worked well. The indoor lighting was nice and bright - much better than the usual motel room. It was very quiet at night with only the occasional distant sound of a truck on Highway 20. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were plumbed with the hot and cold water reversed, but that just added to the rustic appeal. The price we paid was very reasonable given the great location. Overall, we felt we had received a good value for our money.
Beware!!!! We booked this place due to the central location to the places we intended to hike in the Cascades. We booked 3 nights and only stayed one and that was not by choice. We arrived a few minutes after 6pm. When we got to the cabin (#5) we could tell it had not been really cleaned. There was spider webs around each door frame and on the walls above one of the beds. There was a used toothbrush and soap on the window seal in the restroom, hair in the bathtub. The light bulb in the hallway was out. I called immediately about the spiderwebs and items I noticed right away that were dirty and what our options were if we decided to checkout. Not much could be done since it was late. We tried to find somewhere to stay nearby but the closest hotel was almost 2 hours away and I didn’t want to drive in the dark. So we decided to stay the night. The linens to the bed were clean, which I think was the only clean thing in the cabin. The sponges on the kitchen sink were used and smelly, there was used coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Don’t let me forget to mention the dirt and hair we swept up, the floors were filthy. I sent pictures to the number provided and all I got was I’m so sorry. I was told we would not be charged for the 2nd and 3rd night. Honestly, they should not have charged us for the one night we had fro stay. I knew this place was more on the rustic side but not in my wildest imagination did I think it would be that filthy.
Lovely experience for lovers of the outdoors! We stayed at the river trail tent camping area and had a blast. Aside from another camper wanting me to turn my music down at 6pm 🤣🤣 Friends stayed in the lodge and loved the rooms and breakfast. The hot tub was a great addition! Showers were awesome to have. The manager went above and beyond to make my birthday weekend memorable and amazing! Five nights there and me and my friends will definitely be coming back! We all loved it and had such a blast. The river spot was my fave, and super great to cool off in. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and great memories made!
Please only reserve here if you are very certain you can make your reservation. They have a very anti-consumer cancellation policy and they are VERY difficult to get a hold of. I am sure it is a great place to visit but when our 94 year old grandmother no longer could have her big family party here due to health they still insisted that everyone has to pay the full first night even though the reservations are still 10 months out! Plenty of time to book new folks. We bent over backwards to get everyone scheduled because of how difficult they were to reach. And they still are charging for services they did not provide. Just posting this so you can factor it in to your decision to stay here.
We stayed in one of their multiple units. First, the location is perfect if you want to visit North Cascade State park and the surroundings areas. The unit was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including regular size refrigerator, stove, sink, dish soap, paper towels, etc. it had a regular coffee maker, coffee, sugar and cream. Each unit has a bathroom, which is not always the case when staying in this area. We learned other places have a shared bathroom. The bedroom had a queen size bed and was comfortable. The sheets smelled clean and the white bath towels were fluffy, soft and clean. There was no air conditioner in my unit but we didn’t need it. There are fans available. I noticed some of the more modern cabins do have air conditioner. The units are older but it’s a great value if you’re not looking for luxury. Ashley was very friendly and helpful setting up our accommodations and helping us settle-in. I used the laundry facilities and the machines can use cash or card. Supplies available for extra charge. The owner was on the premises and was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again when visiting the area. They do not have breakfast onsite or many places to eat around but we had our supplies with us prior to arriving. It would be helpful to bring supplies but there is a restaurant in a town nearby, not too far away. The registration area has a small shop with many items. The winery was not open when we visited. The premises are well kept and the RV area is away from the cabins. They have a private beach area for guests and the wifi worked. Many channels to chose from as well if you watch TV.
