We are motorcyclists and this is our second year of staying here while we participate in the Cambria Dump Run. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful with meeting our needs. The cabins we stay in are very clean, quiet and provide us with all we need! The grounds are well taken care off and the other campers are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.
We stayed here with 3 other families and liked the campground and amenities. Our sites were spacious and were just a short walk to all of the amenities. Only issue with the site was there was a tree growing right next to the parking pad that drastically affected placement of the camper. Our kids all enjoyed the playgrounds, mini golf and loved the pond! Bathrooms and showers were pretty clean as well. I would have given this review 5 stars, however, the experience each family had checking in was one of the worst, unwelcoming experiences we have ever had camping. The owners/staff, whoever was there, were not friendly and were rude. Not a hi or hello when we arrived and we felt as though we were an inconvenience to them by "checking in" as the sign advised to do. When 3 different families experience the same thing I would say that you need to re-evaluate your camp host skills as we did not feel welcome upon arrival.
Great campground with wonderful staff and owners. Love the size and activities. Nice theme weekends. Very accommodating ! Has music often. Sites are nice size and you are not on top of each other !!
I like to visit this campground due to the fact that I have family that have a seasonal site there and the campground is smaller but nice, however the customer service has definitely been a turn off for me. Of the times I have camped there I do not remember encountering a friendly worker in the store. I also just called recently to ask a question about an upcoming stay when the call went to voicemail, which in of itself is not a problem, but the call was ended before I could even leave a message. So I called again hoping to either speak to someone or leave a message, someone did answer and once I asked my question was answered with an unpleasant "you could have left a message, I was on the phone with someone else ." Needless to say I would not visit this campground if it weren't for my family!
Great owners, very down to earth people. The pond with the DJ is a blast. We had a great sight right next to the pond. A great way to spend the fourth. Side note, lost my wedding ring and they took the time and also found that for me as well. I recommend this camp ground!
