Glamping Retro

If I could give this venue 10 stars, I would. I cannot say enough good things about this venue or the owners. Sharen, Tony, Matt and Tara have truly made Glamping Retro a magical oasis in the mountains of Tennessee. We had our wedding here in June and it was absolutely perfect. They were amazing people to work with and made us feel so special, taken care of and at ease throughout the entire process. They have thought of every detail from the decoration of the yurts, to the landscaping, to guest amenities - everything was amazing. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and said it looked like a painting it was too beautiful to be real! Our photos and video turned out stunning - the entire property is just gorgeous and they did everything they could to help us out. We were able to accommodate most of our wedding party and allow them to stay on site for the weekend, which was so nice to have everyone all in one place. We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding here and can't wait to return again to relive the memories! If you're looking for a unique venue because of your love of nature, camping and mountains, this is your place. It is perfection.

Stayed here on our road trip for a night and were very happy with our experience. The owners greeted us upon arrival and even offered to upgrade our room due to availability! Very lovely spot, ideal for couples and kids as they have two small cabins with twin beds. Will be staying again!

This family owned/operated venue gave us the most magical special wedding weekend possible! They provide the type of service you only get when people genuinely care and love what they do! I cannot begin to find enough high praises to express my gratitude and utmost appreciation for Sharen, Tony, Matt, and the entire team at Glamping Retro for what a magical day our wedding was on April 6th, 2024. Thanks to them, we were able to relax and enjoy each other because Glamping Retro took care of everything!! The units were so comfortable, our ceremony location was gorgeously set up, and the provided fire wood for the fire pits was fantastic. They went above and beyond from the moment we arrived on Thursday, and especially on the morning of the big day; They were there as the sun came up, refilling tanks, setting up tables, greeting family and vendors, everything. For over a year the communication was excellent, any questions we had they immediately got back to us. The location is just breathtaking, and the creek water there is healing!! There is something truly special about what they've created there, and a part of my heart will now forever be with those grounds! Thank you again Glamping Retro, our day would not have been so wonderful without you!!

We had the privilege of being GR's first wedding (August 2023). We couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. We looked for months for our perfect venue and booked the moment we stepped foot on the property. The family is incredibly KIND, loving, and easy to work with. They go above and beyond to make your special day (and/or weekend) feel intimate and run smoothly. We truly couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our marriage. We can't wait to come back with friends and family over the summer!
