Glamplyfe - Happydale Retreat

Stayed here with my husband for a romantic winter getaway and had a great time, the cabin was clean and beautiful, stayed very warm with the heater running. We are very close to the interstate but the traffic isn’t very loud and inside the cabin it is very quiet. I also want to point out the bed is kinda hard, could use a thicker mattress. The little campfire spot was nice and the bathrooms are a short walk away, it was slick getting up the hill to them in the winter though. The side walk in front of the bathrooms and road leading to them should really be salted in the winter. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and id love to come back and stay again when its warmer out!

My husband and I came here last minute for a getaway. We love the outdoors and love any time of camping. This was so cozy & quaint. The view was pretty. The cabin beds were comfy. For being by the highway, it was pretty quiet. We will for sure be back with friends! Make sure you’re prepared to walk & bring a lighter.

We had a really fun and cozy stay at Glamplyfe during a road trip. The A-frames are very pretty and clean, and it was just a really nice quiet evening on the water. We will definitely be returning!

We drove from Kansas to Pennsylvania back in October 2024 passing through this cute getaway and had an amazing time! It’s a great experience! Highly recommend!

Such a sweet little spot for a getaway! My husband, puppy and I loved staying here for a night. The cabins are very cute and cozy and the bathrooms were really nice. The location is pretty close to the highway which was a bit noisy at times and the bathrooms were a bit of a walk away, but we still want to come back for another longer visit, no doubt! Such a great idea for a place to stay.

Highly recommend this place. It was a great get away. This cabin was adorable and clean. I loved the little site, the large window overlooking the lake was amazing and the fire pit area was perfect for enjoying the lake as well. We didn’t fish but others there enjoyed fishing. Everyone was very nice. The bathroom was uphill which wasn’t ideal but definitely not a deal breaker. Especially since the bathhouse was so nice.

We really loved our time here. Check in was easy and the property was beautiful! Tons of cute amenities and fun things to do, we wish we would’ve stayed longer. Honestly the biggest thing for us was the bedding. Wasn’t your typical cheap hotel sheets. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was soft, clean, and just perfect. Loved our time and we are definitely coming back!!

Review of Our Recent Stay My wife, our dog, and I stayed at the cabin for one night and overall had a decent experience. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the cabin was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. The bathroom was also spotless, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, there were a few minor disappointments. We were looking forward to enjoying a cup of Blue Rose Coffee from the trailer early in the morning, as advertised on their website, which opens at 9 AM. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found that the trailer only had Keurig McDonald’s coffee pods available, which was not what we expected. Additionally, when we checked out around 11 AM, the office was locked, and no staff was available to speak with. We didn't have any direct interaction with campground representatives during our stay, which made it difficult to get questions answered or address concerns. Overall, it was an average to good stay—comfortable accommodations with some room for improvement in communication and amenities. We might consider returning if the amenities and staff availability are enhanced in the future.
