If you’re driving up north on the 89 you must stop!!! It’s a short hike and you see some really cool stuff. Or you can do a long hike and make a day of it and there’s some cool stuff even further. We hiked to the hoodo mushrooms and they were pretty awesome probably 15 minute hike. I think it’s like a mile total. Definitely worth a stop to stretch your legs if you’re doing a long road trip up north
Amazing place to go for the day. We had a signal with Starlink. He worked while I sat and soaked up the rays and watched everyone enjoy their water sports: kayaks, wave runners, boats, etc. The water was amazing to just sit in after a long hot morning of packing up to head out for our travels to the Grand Canyon. Had I known I could camp with my Jeep and its roof top tent on the beach, I would have, though we stayed close by at a great small spot for overlanders at a campground by Beehive Trail for $14 about 15 minutes out of Glen Canyon Park.
Beautiful breathtaking scenery! The photos can’t do it justice, it’s absolutely a hidden gem! We visited and rented a canoe service, they delivered the canoe’s to us. It was so easy and convenient since we were just visiting for the day. The kids swam and had an amazing time in the crystal clear water. The water was so refreshing and we explored in the canoes and took breaks in different spots throughout the lake. We created long lasting family memories and most definitely recommend this beautiful gem!
Had a great week. Don't forget your sunscreen, paddleboard, float tubes, Ave beverage of choice. Loved the canyon we found and was well protected from the wind and waves.
