Keep going do yourself a big favor you won't regret bye passing this out dated joint, I almost thought it was a museum even the vintage decor doesn't want to stay , worn-out beds ,rugs are stained and the customer service is extremely unpolished, sad to think your hard earned money will not be well spent here. And yes the employees of this joint will reply with some kind of response . Buy just remember You have choices in harrison. my REVIEW Has given them a single unpolished star .

The owner of this establishment is a sweet elderly man. He was so sweet and said hello each time he did a walk by. The location was beautiful. A weekend away with my mother. HOWEVER there is an extremely rude employee. On my second day, I returned from lagoon with a giant wooden board outside my car with a no parking sign. Another paper sign taped to my window that read "remove your vehicle" and written in pen read "Now!". I was parked along side the bush, behind parked vehicles. All vehicles were able to pull on and out easily, as many did one day one. My mother went to speak with an employee who was very short tempered with her and demanded we move the vehicle. We complied and I went inside to grab my keys, walked to my car, and the man approached us again. He screamed at us that "tourists from Vancouver love to come here thinking they can park wherever the hell they want" and told us to move, again, as we already were doing. We are paying guests and this was very anxiety inducing for me. The same employee was incredibly rude to us later on when our power went out. He blamed it on us stating that we kept the AC running while keeping the door open. When we explained our AC was off, he just rudely told us that he knows we were and we caused the issue. We were very very disappointed as my mother has been a returning guest for 3 years but this will be our last, sadly. I wish the man treated us with respect and understanding rather than being so defensive and hostile. Again, the actual owner is a sweetheart and that is why I am giving a good star review.

My two teens and myself stayed in room 1 two summers ago for 3 days. The first night our ac didn’t work and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone to fix it. That was a rough hot night of no sleep with the door open. Next day it was fixed and Stephanie gave me a discount on one more night. All in all it was a nice peaceful stay. Will be back this summer!

Me and my fiancé have been staying at Glencoe for months until today we get an hour notice while at work that they booked our site and we need to pack up and leave. After reading other reviews and hearing from other guests staying at Glencoe this hasn't been the first time this has happened. While on the phone with the owner Stephanie she was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. If you read other review replies on here you can see how she treats her guests. Outright lying saying we told her that we were going to be gone by September 1st when we initially booked until October. While we were there we enjoyed our stay and our neighbours made the whole experience great! I wouldn't recommend booking a long term stay here unless you want to be kicked out on the spot and have to listen to a condescending inconsiderate woman screaming at you on the phone.

The actual owners are super friendly. Appreciated having a room but there’s a random guy that is ruder than anyone I have ever met that ruins the whole stay. They will refuse to offer any source of heat for the night and they flat out lied and said the fire department said they went aloud space heaters. I contacted them and was informed that was never the case and they had never been asked. The guy told me because he was older and was ok with no heat that I had to be ok with no heat. Basic point is I would stay here again if I bring my own heater but don’t expect the owners to be friendly at all in a resort town ,
