This park is really turning into a great place to be. We stay here on a yearly basis. If you've stayed previously and didn't have a great experience, I encourage you to come back. The river sites are the best, but there really isn't a terrible site in the park. The pull-through sites accommodate large rigs with tows. Great accommodations for pets. The pool is clean and well-appointed. If the hot tub is important, call ahead to make sure it's operating. The staff is helpful and all the ammenities are clean. Be sure to plan a trip over to The Miner's Claim in the free shuttle (tips accepted)

Nice campground overall, but we had a pretty awful customer experience with them when we tried to stay there the last time. We booked one night ahead of time as we were passing through on a road trip. We booked the site via their website, and received confirmation. On the night of our arrival the gates were closed and signage stated they were closed for the season. We then had to keep driving and find the next camping available (about an hour away). The following morning I wrote an email outlining the issue, and wondering why we were able to book a site even though the campground was closed. Their response was simply that it was a glitch, and even had the nerve of suggesting it was our fault for not reading the fine print at the very bottom of the website stating the months the campground was open. Clearly it was their ineptitude that was the reason for the issue and not adjusting the availability on the website.

A mixed bag This KOA offers a delightful mix of amenities and atmosphere. The sites, pool, and grounds are well-maintained, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rates are reasonable, and the riverside strolls are particularly enjoyable. However, your experience can vary depending on your site location within the campground. As a KOA Journey, it benefits from convenient highway access. While the highway noise is minimal, the gas station at the entrance is loud. For a quieter stay, I recommend booking a premium site towards the back of the campground. Avoid sites near the entrance, like site 19, if you prefer more tranquility. Overall, this KOA is great for a night or two, but for an extended vacation, you might want to explore other options.

Great camping experience at our camper location. Clean and well kept campgrounds. The staff were awesome and so helpful! Security on the KOA campground was great. Very vigilant. The amenities include a nice pool, hot tub, showers, a small water park for kiddos, and trails to the creek and the Colorado river.
