Golden Beach Resort

I had my wedding here. Great property, lovely views (5/5), excellent chef (5/5). Organization is very poor (0/5). If you want to have your wedding details sorted out ahead of time, this is not the venue for you. If you're looking for a scenic place and do not mind having things up in the air until days before the event, I recommend this spot.

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights/ 4 days and had a great time. It was a family vacation of 18 people, and rented 5 cabins. The issues that we encountered were addressed by friendly staff. The cabin rentals were equipped with all the kitchen essentials you need, they were clean and comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable. The resort has a variety of amenities which we used. The beach is small. We had a great time at the resort and booked again for 2025.

Really great little community of cottages and trailers. They have a cafe, pool, basketball net, playground, and splash pad. The cabins are a good size and the community puts on events like farmer's markets, live music, fireworks, and bingo nights. Great for all ages.

We stayed at Golden Beach Resort this last week. I cannot express my thanks and gratitude to not only the staff but the other patrons at the park. My kids made friends and had wandered off on the last day there. They were supposed to be at the park but when I went to collect them they were not there. Not only did ALL the staff stop what they were doing but other seasonal campers also stopped and got on their golf carts to help locate them. They were found safe in minutes but the absolute dedication by all to find them was AMAZING!!!! The resort is beautiful, the people are amazing and the amenities to keep everyone entertained were endless. Fishing the lake was great the kids were catching (small) fish every 5min. The restaurant was fantastic and very accommodating (wanted to take food to go so the chef let us borrow the platters) I cannot express enough how amazing this place is!!! My hopes are to maybe get a seasonal site there in the near future. Thank you Golden Beach Resort for a BEAUTIFUL week we hope to return soon

Stayed a few weeks ago great spot nice cabin staff were good but cleaning staff dont do a good job cleaning from last guest ,found the coffeemaker still had used grounds from a guest with mold starting to grow on top and we found a ball cap between bed and wall in the sheets leading me to believe the sheets wernt changed either
