We love this place so much, we actually made the 2 hour drive 2 weekends in a row! The water is beautiful, the locals are nice, no loud boats... Everyone just paddle boarding, fishing, and kayaking. This is one of my favorite places to go on a sunny day.
Stopped by here 10/14/19 to soak my feet into the freezing lake after a long hike. The lake is gorgeous. It looks like they area preparing to close the camp for the season.
Beautiful lake and forest. We were the only people there on a weeknight which was great... however a COUGAR was watching me from about 40 ft away in the bush at night as I walked to the bathroom alone. Lots of garbage in campground and surrounding boondocking sites. Don't be trash, pickup your trash.
Had a nice visit...beautiful place...but too many people at times...wash board road could use a grader...Liza Jane loved it!
This little spot is a nice place where you can swim, you can fish, or look for fish eagles who catch trouts right in front of you on the lake. In the rainy season there can be a lot of water, and trees are torn up with the root and they are thrown around as if they were small branches.
Beautiful quiet lake but treacherous roads to get there. No motor boats allowed.
