In full disclosure we didn't stay here but just walked the area. Beautiful place if you like biking or hiking. These places are cool but don't seem to be luxury but just a step above primitive camping. My understanding is you bring your own bedding and water. Composting toilets and no air conditioning. Go if you want a unique and beautiful place to camp without the hassle of seeing up a tent and a cot.
This is a great experience and if you enjoy outdoor activities off reading and mountain biking are two things that are perfect for this spot but there’s a lot of things near by as well so if you rent it out for a week you can go see the Grand Canyon Bryce Canyon or any other great things southern utah has to offer. Plus if your lucky the full moon lights up the beautiful midnight sky and you can star gaze if you feel the need
We had such a great time! Kenny was easy to work and communicate with. The yurt was well-stocked and pretty clean, key retrieval and return process was convenient, and the yurt was easy to access. It was awesome to take a mountain bike trip where we didn't have to pack up and drive to the trailheads. It was quite windy while we were there, so we didn't end up using the fire pit, but the view from the pit was incredible. Would highly recommend the Gooseberry Mesa yurts and we hope to come back again!
Fantastic, secluded, relaxing space. Kenny has created a very zen-like experience on the Gooseberry mesa. The views are breathtaking. Each of the 3 yurts offer a very private experience. The Zion yurt was our choice. It was clean and extremely well constructed. Almost like a mini-cottage. Star gazing at it's finest. The mtn bike trails are interesting and challenging. Thumbs up on this experience.
Beautiful location. Beautiful Yurts inside and out. Firepit, lota of trails, the view from the porch is breathtaking. The bathrooms are even very nice for being potty pits. I was impressed. We rented all 3 Yurts and it looks like a 4th one is being built. We will return many more times. For information sake, the cliff is very close to the Yurts. Have a plan if bringing small children. We had 10 children under 10.
