Gorda Springs Resort

Came across this lovely place by chance during a road trip along the coast. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the ocean. The room was basic, but very clean and equipped with everything you could need for a 1 night stay. Seemed to be run by a family who were all super friendly and helpful. This beautiful place ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday…waking up to the noise of seals and the sounds of the ocean was so peaceful and special. Thanks for a great stay!

What a beautiful stop. A real gem. Had a great encounter with a barista named Ringo. Lovely chap.he really knows how to make one feel at home in an exotic location. He also is knowledgeable in local history and post maps historical photos etc. Outside of the coffee shop was the most beautiful crystal display with local jade . Pure magic hand mined crystals and ocean polished jade. Thanks to Daniel and his family for a great gift. He is also a wealth of knowledge passion and good vibration. I came by a couple months ago and bought gifts. I hope he sets up again soon. Cheers from carmel!

My family of 6 was so lucky to stay here. It was the end of the night and we had finally found a place to stay. The woman at the counter who helped us was so amazing. She was very patient, friendly, and helpful. They even let us order some pizza even though their restaurant just closed. The cabins were cute and clean and we absolutely loved it there. Beautiful landscaping and location. Would love to come back!

The accommodations in the creek house were nice. Room was a bit run down but everything was clean and this place is in great location. I was charged in full when I made the reservation, then a few days before arriving I was charged an additional amount (over $400). When I asked where this charge came from I was told they didn't know and they refused to refund my money. I was told I must dispute the charge with my credit card company. Watch your credit card statement if you stay here!

This is a love letter to the staff at Gorda Springs Resort. After our car broke down about 7 miles north at Paul’s Slide, a kind construction worker, Noe, drove us and our dog down to Gorda Springs Resort to contact a tow (there is no cell reception in the area). “Patty will take care of you” he said, and that she did, as well as the rest of the staff. Patty let us use the phone to call numerous tow companies, with very little luck. We couldn’t get a tow until the next day so we had to post up for the night. I was visibly upset and nervous about the car trouble and a ruined vacation. Patty put us outside on the deck with little champagne splits and told us to calm down and watch the beautiful sunset, that tomorrow would be a better day. Betty, who was working the restaurant, comforted our dog with bacon. They’d already shut down the kitchen for the night, but offered to make us a hot meal anyway. These kind people went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and comfortable at their resort and the whole experience felt like a warm hug. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable -a godsend for these weary travelers. There isn’t a bad view on the property, which is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. I can’t thank these folks enough for saving our lives that day and we will never forget Patty, Betty, and the rest of the wonderful staff at Gorda Springs Resort.
