We have been stopping here for years on our way to Florida from Indiana and also on the way home. Super friendly staff and nice campground. Easy off and on the highway. It is right next to multiple train tracks with frequent fast moving trains, so there’s noise from that but we didn’t mind it. They used to have live music every night and that’s why we always made sure to stay here. Now, it’s just Fridays and Saturdays. So that’s a bummer. They offer a delicious and affordable breakfast every morning which makes it quick and easy to get back in the road! Reservations are always an easy phone call.
From the minute we pulled in we felt at home. Team member Gavin guided us via golf cart to our site and even helped us back in. Later he even came by and helped us refill our propane tanks. Sue and the whole team really aimed to please. We had absolutely everything we needed and loved the amenities. We took nice, hot showers and enjoyed talented musicians every night. We loved the proximity to Nashville too and used it as a launchpad for exploring the Music City and fun surrounding suburbs. We recommend this place and would definitely come back!
This spot is amazing! We travel full time and have agreed that this is one of the best spots we’ve stayed at. Before we arrived, I went back and looked at reviews because it had been a few months since I booked the spot. Our favorite parts were the live music every night (truly an incredible amenity in music city!) and the breakfast and dinner options. Not to mention the whole staff is incredibly friendly; we are always appreciative when people take the time to engage with our kids. A few things to note based on others’ comments: Yes, many of the plastic tables have some chipping on them. They are perfectly usable. If you don’t like the chipping, a table cloth works perfectly. Yes, some of the spots are a little on the small side. We still had plenty of space to maneuver our 40 foot fifth wheel in with no issues as well as plenty of room for our things. Yes, it is right next to a train track. That never bothers us, but may bother others. Our only area of improvement would be a playground. They have a swing set that our kids played on every day, but a set with a slide or a few other things would go a long way! We would absolutely stay here again when in the area!!
Nice RV park it's going to be a must stop on our trips north and south. Clean well organized, the nightly entertainment on the porch is great. Pizzas looked great ( just had one before we got there) it rained while we were there but didn't see any flooding. Sure there were trains but compared to other parks they were quick and much quieter ( no horns) We'll be back.
First off I’d like to mention the price is cheap, staff are super friendly, and the live music was great as well! But the trains, which were practically on top on some sites was too much for us :/ Woke me up each of the 6 nights we were there. The train track is a stones throw distance, and they come barreling by all hours of the day.
