Beautiful high lake campground that is pretty small. Very cold at night, even in August, but so worth it. I recommend a hike around the lake; please just be mindful of wildlife and the plant-life. No light pollution so the night sky is fabulous.
Campground could use some up dates, like better roads, turnaround and a place to dump gray water. Good fishing 9-12 inch rainbow are common.
Good third choice for camping at Anthony Lakes. Close enough to the hill to ride your bike to and from. Nice little trail goes all the way around.
Clean restroom, perfect setting. Thank you Wallowa Whitman NF
