What a great place to stay with my family! The owners were very sweet and helpful! We mentioned that we were checking in late, they left the porch light on for us so it was easy to find and and get into the cabin. The cabin was nice and toasty. After a very long drive, getting into a cozy bed with soft pillows was a perfect way to end the day. The sheets were soft and comfy not cold like most hotel beds. We definitely had a good nights sleep during our entire stay. Our cabin was clean and nicely renovated keeping a rustic and cabin-like feel. We enjoyed all the amenities that came with the cabin so we could make meals and relax with the family. Taking a pleasant hot shower was indeed delightful. The coin laundry area was nicely laid out and clean. The hot tub was great to use especially after skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area. The Grandview Cabins & RV Resort is close to town, restaurants, ski rentals, grocery store, gas station, just to name a few things in the near vicinity. Great mountain views. It's easy to find. The place is clearly marked. We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much for having us and for your hospitality! Aloha ;o)
First time here, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our cabin and how well maintained the property was. We will stay again, on our next Wolf creek Ski trip!
A star each for friendliness of hosts, cleanliness of grounds and facilities, maintenance of grounds and facilities (everything in working order), another star for the grounds - grassy sites that were not cramped (but not overly spacious). I withheld the 5th star, since the bathrooms were tiny. All-in-all, a nice and quiet place to stay and reasonably priced, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
These cabins are everything you expect and more. Rustic look and charm. Our cabin has a wood heater comfortable seating, nice walk-in shower, and comfy beds. Our host provide Folgers coffee, coffee filters and a drip coffee maker. Totally enjoyed the front porch swing.
A campground “rv resort” is an understatement. Not bad but nothing spectacular. It’s mostly a locals spot with some people coming in to hunt or ride side by sides. The owner will follow you to your campsite and micromanage you backing into your spot. If you don’t have a bathroom in your camper it’s a different experience. The sites up top have a cabin type area with 1 single bathroom and 1 single toilet for men/women not unisex. The one bathroom toilet has an exhaust fan the rest don’t. It’s 30 plus year wood paneling and linoleum floors with mold and mildew in the ceilings of both shower walls. The outlet in the bathroom was covered with water/moisture upon getting out and not gfci protected. I wouldn’t use a hairdryer after a long shower. The bath house down below has 2 single bathrooms. So they have a total of 3 toilets/showers available per male/female. But they were available to use during our stay and not occupied. WiFi worked fine and was available. The owners clearly have no tolerance for kids and make that clear. They don’t even want them using the 30 plus year old pool table that has a value probably under $100. Overall a average experience and nothing great or really bad. That’s why I give it a honest rating of 3 stars. But they really need to upgrade some stuff!! Hot tub was a no go fyi. Yuck
