Very good views and saw a moose, on site firepit was nice and had good barriers to prevent the fire getting out of control. We found lots of firewood around the site. Also don't take the off road section of the road that google maps tells you to do, just stay on the gravel road. Road in great conditions and the detour it says is very small.
This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The bathrooms are clean! We had a very relaxing weekend.
Probably the best place in Colorado to see the moose up close and personal and the best and cleanest campground with the best views of nature.

This place in beautiful. I've been coming here ever since I was a kid, and try to get up here whenever I Can just so I can look at the lake, and hike along the river.
