Grandview Campground & RV Park

I had a great experience at the Grandview Campground. I rolled in late as I was heading west on a road trip with my dog. The owner, Lori, was super courteous and welcoming. Even though it is right off the interstate, noise was not an issue at all and I felt quite comfortable and tucked away towards the back of the campground area. It was also incredibly convenient as I could grab breakfast at the McDonalds nearby the next morning and continue on my trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone driving on I-90 and needing a place to camp or hook up their RV for a night or two.

We are traveling west and needed shelter from an oncoming storm. What a great little campground this is. Laurie was very helpful with a faster route back to her campground when we had passed the exit. I found her gift shop full of beautiful merchandise, clothing, jewelry gifts. Laurie has a great outlook on life and very much cares about her guests and their needs. The sites are spacious with green grass, the facilities were very clean and looked very inviting. Whether you are passing through or planning extraordinary adventures in the many parks and monuments in the area, this is the place to stay. Personalized service, more than you get at the truck stop RV park. Don't pass up this treasure. I highly recommend this campground.

Stopped here for one night heading to Alaska. Spot was great, right by two gas stations. They really prefer you pay in cash though you can pay ahead of time online as well. Bathrooms were clean, free showers and great place to watch the sunset!!

We had a restful and peaceful stay at Grandview Campground! It's super close to Highway 90, which made it perfect for our overnight stop. The bathhouse was clean, and having laundry facilities was a big plus. The whole place was quiet and peaceful and far enough away from the highway that you do not hear any road noise. Just what we needed. Lori, the owner, was amazing. Even though we showed up at 9 pm, she welcomed us like family. Her friendliness made our stay extra special. It's clear why this family-owned and operated campground has been around since 1976. If you're looking for a great place to stop for the night, we highly recommend Grandview Campground!

This campground served its purpose as a quick stopover for the night mainly because there’s nothing else around. The state of the office has already been discussed by other reviewers so no need to restate. The place is dumpy and unkempt. Our site 43 was one safety hazard after another. Trash on the ground to include glass, a water hose hooked up to our water supply going to a different site, and a piece of bent rusted metal from what appeared to be an old grounding rod about a foot from the electrical pole. My toe managed to find the rod as I was hooking up and gave me a nice gash. I brought this up to the owner who seemed to dismiss it altogether and that it was required to be there and they’ve never had problems. The maintenance guy walked out with me to look at it and was profusely apologetic, unlike the owner. He went and spray painted it bright red in order to make it more visible to others. Needless to say, we left early the next morning.
