Great campsite. You can make reservations or see what's available when you arrive. There are several along the road. Outhouses are clean and well stocked. But always bring TP just in case.
This place was amazing as far as the views. The campground is clean and very well kept and best of all right beside a beautiful river. . But the road!!! It's a tough road, some gravel, some fist size rocks and mostly mud.
This place is a piece of heaven on earth. Everywhere you look you’re surrounded by gorgeous scenery. There are deer and moose, fishing in the stream and so much more. The campground is filled with tall pine trees which provide shade during the hot day. We actually slept in hammocks that hung between the trees. I would definitely recommend doing that! Such a fun experience. It’s pitch black at night and the stars are out of this world (literally 😊). I can’t recommend this campground enough. Just know, it’s first come first serve. There are bathrooms onsite (holes in the ground) and fresh water on spicket.
Nice moderately used campground. Outhouses very clean and it has water. If you are hauling a trailer the road is fine so long as you take it slow. I own a 21 foot trailer and I would not want to haul more than a 24 foot trailer. Campground is near a hot spring, a scenic waterfall and a trailhead. Very quiet place to go camping.
We planned on staying here, but arrived on a Sunday night in September and there were no spots open. Even though there are 3 loops and supposedly 50 so spots, 2 of the loops were closed (I don't know why). Thankfully we found a boondock spot 3.4 miles south of the campground that turned out to be really nice ( between the highway and 2miles south of the campground there are several other boondock sites)
