Great campground. Sites are close together but dense foliage gives the illusion that they're not. Only issue was sound. People were raucous - yelling, driving loud vehicles, etc - until well after midnight.

I already shared my experience here under a different account but was so pleased with this campground I decided it deserved another great review. We loved to scenery, the privacy of our spot, the fun trails, the accommodations... This is a very good family campground. Be aware that most of their spots are ideally for RVs and most aren't designed for tents. In our spot, I ended up doing a bit of landscaping to accommodate our larger family tent but now our spot is ready for next time too. There is much to do nearby, from baseball and volleyball fields to a beautiful river that cuts through the campground. There is fishing and swimming at a nearby lake reservoir too. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest we've experienced at any campground. You won't be disappointed with the campground.

I am so angry with this campsite! We went early in the morning to get a campsite because they are "first come first serve" which we found out is bull shiz. I spent over two hours trying to reserve a spot, getting the run around between the two camp directors, one of which was senile, brand new and had no idea what was going on and the other was deaf and communicated through typing on a phone. Talk about recipe for miscommunication. The senile one finally gave me a spot. I set up the tent and made up camp. Then the directors came over and kicked us out because even though we'd paid and set up, someone had made a reservation online- again, not even allowed in policy- and they forgot to put up a reserved sign. So after sinking 5 hours into a camping trip, we went home empty handed because the camp directors couldn't get their sit together. I would not recommend anyone try to camp here ever. You might get kicked out mid camp with no good reason.

Camped here this past weekend and loved it. Bathrooms were very clean. Sites are far enough away from each other that you don’t feel like you’re in a developed campground. We didn’t see a camp host the whole time we were there. In fact the site the camp host was supposed to be at was vacant. We will for sure be back!

WORST HOST EVER!!! I literally read the previous reviews and a lot of people have shared their experiences with the host and how rude she was. So I went in assuming that she was going to be difficult but I have NEVER dealt with someone so unprofessional and extreme rude! How do you employ someone with absolutely no people skills what so ever. Any time you asked her anything she not only rolled her eyes but her response was so dismissive! Why is she even a host? She was so unhelpful the entire time! The bathroom we were next to was disgusting! The vaulted toilets on the men’s side were not emptied! I’ve never seen a vaulted toilet filled to the top and we camp all over Utah during the summer. When letting the host know about the restroom issue, once again not only was she rude and aggressive with her response. She felt the need to try and educate me on what a vaulted toilet was, again I have NEVER seen one filled to the top! I took pictures which I won’t post because they are disgusting but I will share if I need to. The host eventually came back to check for herself and didn’t say a word, just left. Eventually she told us that it would cost $4,000 for someone to come and empty it. Basically we’ll have to deal with it. We just had to use another bathroom down the road. We had people with disabilities with us and this is why we selected that specific campsite. It stated that it was intended for people who were disabled. This just made everything harder for them, especially when needing to use the restroom. Just for future reference site Spike 053 is not meant for 16 people! This only has a tent pad space for one large tent maybe 2 small tents and that’s it. We had to put the tents in the parking spots, move our cars to outside the campgrounds which was another major inconvenience! This was such a disappointment! More than anything I hope that they would replace this host with someone who has the ability to be kind and work with people!
