Not a lot of shade, but plenty of space, paved road almost all the way to the campground. Bathrooms available. The lake is a short walk away and hiking around the lake has great views and a nice trail. Usually well stocked with fish. There is a bit of litter from people with poor character that frequent the reservoir.
We delivered for some great people here at campground 10. A very beautiful place that I've enjoyed since I was little living here. Flying kites around Easter is always the best! -Dale
For overnight camping the campground is sufficient. Paying there to stay overnight wasn’t possible and we never saw a ranger to do so. You can’t take your trailers or park next to the water at the reservoir, which makes fishing not as fun as it once was.
Caught 2 in the first 15min.. Released them back tho. So someone else can have the fun experience too...
Fun place to camp. Fishing was great. We caught 2 fishes and went on a bike ride around the lake. Costs $10/ night, checkout time is 10AM. It is close to 2 canyons and some dirtbike/utv trails. The north canyon is great for offroading with a jeep.
Camp sites are level and great for RV's. When we stayed only a hand full of other campers made the tight camp spaces bearable. No camp host at this site and while I though universally 10 PM is quite hours several never got the memo. Two RV's ran generators all night, another group was playing music till 2 AM. Not the biggest issues for me as my group was up late just not being loud. Just plan on being a party filled night and not much sleep. I feel bad that a young family had set up earlier in the day but was gone before light likely due to not being able to sleep from the other lounder groups.
