Grape Hammock Fish Camp & Airboat Rides

You need to take this tour! None of the 5 of us (54 to 75 years old) had ever ridden on an airboat and enjoyed it immensely. Our guide Kevin was excellent. He grew up on this lake and it's obvious that he knows this lake like the back of his hand and he knows where to find gators, birds, deer, and more. We a several unexpected animals and that made it fun. We felt completely safe and enjoyed the ride so much. Highly recommend this tour!

I absolutely love staying here. Am here as i type. Have been twice so far. Cabins feel like home. Have all basic kitchenware (this time we don't have a can opener). Very clean. Each cabin has its own dock space. Kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a decent sized fridge. My only critique is the shower in our trailer is extremely small. It's maybe 2ft wide so I can't stand with my arms at my side. Our other cabin last year didn't have that issue. Hubby and I are already wanting to plan our next stay. Pet friendly (brought our dog) and there is a food truck here on some days.

Barrett was a great guide and this was such a great experience. Having never been on an airboat I found it to be safe and really fun! We saw so many beautiful birds and other wildlife and were able to communicate with each other and Barrett easily with the headsets. He was funny, full of knowledge and it was an all around incredible experience. Would recommend it again and again and hope to come back!

We’ve done the airboat ride to see gators and it’s been very fun! The guides are knowledgeable and know exactly where to find the gators! We’ve also seen cows, deer and buffalo along with many varieties of birds including a few eagles nests! Fun to take kids on and enjoy the ride and scenery!

Took our second airboat ride with Barrett and he did another excellent job. He filled us in on all the wildlife we were seeing and answered any questions we had. Very polite and great with our kids on board also. Definitely recommend. Thanks again Barrett!

GATORS EVERYWHERE!! Had an absolutely fantastic experience on our airboat gator tour with the family! The early morning departure was perfect for spotting tons of wildlife, and we saw gators everywhere—it was amazing! Kevin, our Airboat Captain, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour super fun and safe. You can tell he really knows the area and the best spots to find alligators. This is hands-down one of the best gator tours in Florida. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and authentic Everglades airboat tour. We’ll definitely be back!

We saw so many different animals, even some rare. Our guide was impressively knowledgeable, which really enriched the experience for us. Easy to understand instructions, even for the 8yr old with us. Felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend this experience. Dress for sun and breeze. Nice little shop with snacks and souvenirs at affordable prices. Nice bathrooms 👍

Grape Hammock is the best for airboat rides! Fun and informative guides, they show you the best of the Kissimmee Lake wildlife. My grandson counted 38 alligators on our ride (and he didn’t even see all of them!). The best one was the 12 footer. Unbelievable! It is amazing how many different species of birds we saw also. Bald eagles, buffalo, cows, pigs, antelope. . . .you name it, it was out there!!! Thank you so much - we’ll be back!!!

Great airboat rides! Took our kids and granddaughters on Sunday 4 and 6 years old and they loved it. Saw lots of birds, eagles alligators and other wildlife. The drivers are very informative and helpful. If you want a good ride this is the best in Polk County. Highly recommend.
