This is beautiful campground. Toilet building was clean. Grounds were a little trashed from previous folks but overall it was amazing. Would stay here again. Would live here if I could.
love this place it's where vanlife started for me over 4 years ago. free campground in a valley secluded pretty empty during the week but can fill up on the weekends and over full on holidays. Great campground with pit toilet and a river on the outskirts stocked with fish. pet friendly. good luck getting a cell signal. off grid.
We love trout fishing at grapevine. Easy access to the water for everyone. Stays well stocked and lots of fun. Usually not very crowded during the week. Never camped, but have seen lots of people doing it.
We have a great time. Even though it rained every day we bundled up and put on ponchos and went exploring.
Ugh. One of the sites had a tent that had been abandoned for days. Inside was nothing but a 2 liter soda bottle full of a dubious yellow liquid. Another site had an abandoned grill. This place needs more attention from the rangers.
