I would have given a 5 star rating but we had to wait in line for an hour to dump our tanks. For the size of this facility one would think they’d have more than 1 dump station. It’s dry camping with the bonus of having 30/50 amp service available. There are many sites with no service that go for a lower rate. Bring plenty of leveling boards. Most sites with electric are very sloped. Quiet time was well observed and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. There’s no additional fee for showers. I observed security patrols every evening and trash was picked up at each site. Shuttle service to the track was very slow so plan accordingly. We waited upwards of 30 min to get to the track and 45-60 min to return the day of the NASCAR race. They are dog friendly and have a playground and volleyball court. The volleyball court was not maintained very well. I would return to this area but in the future I’d try to get into a campground closer to the track.

I can appreciate a good time and all , but people are allowed to party , scream, and run their generators all hours of the night.

If I wanted a concert I would have paid for tickets. Family campground. No real rules. Midnight quiet hours. The base and volume of music is rude. It goes all day and night. Spots spacious but you can't enjoy it with the tolerated noise levels. Not coming here again. Been to several camping races and never has it been this bad. Terrible.

The size of sites are generous. However, there are no tables, fire rings, or grills. You get a piece of the field and 30 amps. No trees. Some of the sites are flat, but just as many are on an incline. This was a problem for some trailers. Also, for motorhome owners, this campground mentioned a Michigan law that supposedly stated you can't have two steering wheels on one campsite. They wanted to charge us for our tow vehicle to be parked in a parking lot at the entrance. That was a ridiculous ask. I'm not sure what Michigan was thinking with this law. We couldn't find the law to read and the campground didn't provide it. But once our coach is parked, it is on jacks and doesn't move. It's no different than a fifth wheel or a travel trailer. Luckily, they didn't force the issue, and so I'm not holding against the campground, but I mention it just in case you run across the same issue here. The bath house can get dirty with so many people walking to use it. But it's big. Staff was friendly. Water/sewer trucks came by often. Trash pick up on site. They allow clever sales like ice cream trucks, corn on the cob, etc. That was nice.

Open area Campground with no trees. Not saying that's a bad thing, because let's face it, the main point of these campgrounds is a place to stay and have a good time partying. This Campground definitely seems a little more low-key than the other ones right on the track. The only complaint is there is only one dump station, with only one drain. Takes a long time because of that to get out. If you are willing to pay the extra but, they do come around with trucks to empty your tanks for about $50 a pop.
