Loved our glamping experience. Great location! Heather, y’all have done a great job with making the tents comfortable! The bath house was amazing! Nicest one I’ve seen!
This was my first "glamping" experience and I may never go back to a regular tent again! The campground is located close to several fantastic day hikes - Carter Caves, Grayson Lake, Natural Bridge, and SUP Kentucky filled my week while there. After a full day of activities, coming back to tuck into a comfy bed with soft sheets was just what my body needed. The luxury of electricity at each site and hot coffee fresh in the morning was an added bonus. The campsites are spacious enough that you are not right on top of your neighbors, the facilities are clean and well stocked, and the onsite hiking/biking trails were perfect for a night hike to watch the sunset. I highly recommend!!
Horrible owners. They like to pick and choose what policies they want to enforce and who they enforce them towards. They had constant partiers that would make noises all throughout the night, but they would say nothing to them. My family and I communicated that we did not like the way they would speak to us and they immediately told us we had to leave. They greatly lack in communication and people skills. They continue to take zero accountability for their actions and unprofessional behaviors. Not a great way to run a business or the sad excuse of a “resort.” It was a resort for my family. The last resort. I would strongly consider for you to have this as your last resort if you plan on visiting Grayson Lake and the beautiful trails and nature this area has to offer. I wouldn’t want the owners' poor attitude to ruin your stay.
We camped for Memorial Day weekend and we loved it. The bike trails are super fun and maintained. The facilities were clean and updated. We will be returning for sure.
Stayed over labor day weekend and this place was amazing. A very nice hidden gem with well kept facilities. The tents were very nice with a feel of home. Would definitely recommend visiting here.
Nice owners and friendly neighbors! Very quiet. It is on a hill so the road can be a tad bumpy after rains but they keep a pile of gravel near the entrance for maintenance I assume. I hope they add some of that gravel to the entrance soon as the change from payment to gravel was pretty rough in our 40' class A. Pretty nice little place. We didn't go into any buildings but they looked nice and the campground clean. Wifi barely worked and pretty spotty and same with cell service. We have Sprint and if we walked around the campground we would get 2 bars 3g on and off. Water pressure is low but tolerable. Overall for $25 full hookups (taxes included btw!) it's a great deal with nice people and we would come back!
