Totally unique experience. This place is new and I can't wait to see it grow. I've never stayed in a place quite like this and I'd love to come back and stay there again some time! The atmosphere of an old vintage camper was cozy and relaxing, and it's walking distance from downtown! Cannot recommend this place enough.

This weekend we camped in the future glamping tent. This resort is a beautiful fun work in progress. My kids loved the pond and I really liked it as it had a wading pool that my three year old could safely swim in. The dock is a nice place to put your feet in the water and take in the beautiful scenery of the fields and woods. We got to watch deer, birds, and all kinds of other wildlife, from our campsite and the swimming area. Bruce was easy to talk to and proud to show off all the hard work that's been put in and some of his plans for the future. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are amazing. It's close to town so you can experience all the cute shops and dining options Floyd has to offer. The river is close by for fishing or tubing. We highly recommend this experience.

Brand new glamping venue with a variety of nostalgic campers to choose from, on a large wooded property overlooking a pond with a sandy beach and the mountains beyond. Each RV has bed(s) with brand new mattress, sheets, towels, mini kitchen, and deck. Some have their own privies. Lots of places to store your supplies and gear. The shared bathhouse has male/female sides with multiple stalls and private showers - clean and luxurious - great water pressure. The beach and pond have chairs, grills, and every toy you can think of. The hosts were nearby and quick respond to texts when needed. Convenient to downtown Floyd and just minutes ti the new FloydFest venue. Still a few rough edges to smooth out but overall a fun and unique place to stay!

Great location. Bruce did an amazing job making such a nice place to relax. Adorable camping and a pond that isn't too cold to swim in! A fun, relaxing day for the family.

We camped here and will be back to stay in a vintage trailer or the Conestoga wagon. Great amenities if you’re into vintage outdoor living

We absolutely loved our stay at Green Acres Resort! Bruce was a fantastic host and it’s really cool what they’ve done with the place. The vintage trailers are super cool and found the beds to be very comfortable. We stayed in the Sweet Suite, it was super charming. Also, the campground restrooms and shower house were clean and spacious, which was nice as the trailer bathroom can be a little small. In the mornings we got to see deer and foxes outside of the kitchen window. Location to town was amazing and can’t wait to go back to enjoy their beach and pickleball courts. One heads up, this might not be everyone’s cup of tea. A few things to expect ahead of your stay: 1. This is glamping. We had a few harmless bugs in our trailer that we relocated outside. Nothing major, but I know not everyone enjoys little creepy crawlers. 2. These trailers are vintage and restored, but they’re not perfect. You might find some gaps around the door when they shut (which probably explains some of the bugs), but again, this is glamping and would be wise to expect some rough edges. Regardless of these call outs, we still found our stay to be fantastic and would go back 10/10 times. If the two comments above give you any pause for concern, you might enjoy Hotel Floyd instead.
