Stayed here in a really nice and spacious log cabin with my family of 5. A loft with a huge king bed, a room with twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Nice modern bathroom with a bathtub, good kitchen with full size fridge, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and even a dishwasher! Big windows looking out to the beautiful trees. I love it that there is free wifi! It is a very short walk down to a beautiful lake where there is a boathouse with life jackets and paddles, etc, that are available for guests to use. I can imagine how popular the place would be in the summer! It is a cozy getaway for winter break for us- it was beyond my expectations 😀

Best family get away spot on Salt Spring. Lovely log cabins. Great hosts. Don’t miss out.

Stayed with a big group for two nights in multiple different cabins. The grounds were very nice, upper log framed cabins were definitely nicer than the lower ones, but did not have the same lake view. My entire cabin was kept up all night on the second night by something in a locked/closed room, cycling on and off every 10 minutes, drove us insane. As others on here have noted, the host was less than pleasant to deal with which was reported by multiple people in my party.

Location is great but it's too bad the manager was so rude and unwelcoming to us. We did make the mistake of bringing our dogs with us in June, when they are not allowed to even be "on the property" as we were told multiple times. At no point did we receive check in details where this would have been stated. Instead we were left scrambling to find another accommodation for part of our group to stay with our dogs. We showed up at about 2:30 and were turned away, told that check in was at 4PM. Our room was apparently still being cleaned and we were told that they would call us when it was ready. No call came through so we came back again at 6PM to check in. One of the night stands had a couple of dried up contact lenses left on it.
