Easy on/off i-90. Level, long pull-thru, sites that were freshly mowed. Some picnic tables and fire rings. Great water & water pressure. Easy self check-in. For the $35 rate, we decided to stay a second night and caught up on things. Drove 7 mi east to the little cafe in Grand Meadow. Good!!
Easy access from I90.Self check in. Quite friendly full hook up with 30&50 amp. We got about 27 channels with our antenna
Fit our needs of a place to pull off the highway for the night that offers hookups. Painless self check in/out process. Site was not real "tidy" upon our arrival is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Notified the contact and they said they would get it taken care of before the next person rented the site. UPDATE: Stayed here twice again this year on the way to and from our vacation destination. Still the same very simple easy and affordable full hook up sites. Communicating was a little more spotty with the contact this time around, but the sites were clean and spacious. Overall great experience.
I travel for work, with that being said it’s all year round, different states. This year I ended up in Slayton Minnesota starting in may, come October we were transferred to a place called Dexter. As most people who rv know Minnesota shuts their parks down usually October 1st, due to it being so cold. I spoke with Katie the owner of this particular park in June because I knew we needed to try and find somewhere. I explained the situation to her and told her we were looking to stay from Oct- January. Is there anyway they would possibly stay open for us. She spoke with her husband Craig who ended up getting a dozen sites ready for us for winter weather. These people are to say the least the most awesome people I have met in my travels. U can have fun here. They aren’t uptight with a ton of rules. It’s very well kept and they are there to help with anything u need. Family owned quick store in front of park with fuel station. This is an all around awesome little town and I would definitely return, would prefer to be in the summer months of course. When it started to get cold Craig was coming around to each site putting drain tile, insulation and barrels over the water pipe, also handing out extension cords if u needed them. These two are the best!! So if ur looking to stay somewhere this is the place. Mall of America is not too awful far from here, haven’t been able to go to the ski slopes yet to go tubing. But I hope to go before we leave. Craig has even said that if something by chance would happen with the water he would come around with a tank and fill up peoples holding tanks. I could live here year round with these guys if it was a warmer state in the winter!! Lol hands down wonderful wonderful people. I’d give them 10 stars if I could
We stayed there 8/4/22. $35/night. FCFS. FHU. The owner was nice. I rode my bike up to pay and someone else's dog came running at me and put his nose on my leg. First strike. The shower building is a trailer with two shower rooms and a laundry room. There is no ventilation in the shower rooms so it stunk of mold when you open the doors. The toilets are chemical toilets and were full and stunk. The one door looked like it had been kicked in because the strike plate was completely broken out of the frame so you couldn't close the door much less lock it. We were going to stay the weekend but the showers were the deal breaker. Hopefully the owners do something with the shower trailer.
