I stayed at the Green River travel camp for 15 days (for work). I spoke to the park manager Felicia, who honestly couldn't have been nicer. The park was clean, and the restrooms-and-shower area were always immaculate. As far as safety goes, I was in a hurry to catch a flight, accidentally left my trailer unlocked for 7 days, and when I returned, nobody touched anything. I will stay here whenever I come to Green River.
This is an excellent camp stop for 1 or 2 days. Has pull thru sites. We stayed with 40' towing a truck. Long enough to stay hooked. You can buy and drink a brew or wine at the office. There are even several slot machines there. Bathrooms are very clean. The hosts, Felicia and staff were amazing. Had adventure recommendations and over all great people. We will be back!
Reception was nice. Desk attendant was very pleasant. Sparse green space on the property. Not much with regard to trees and/or grass. Our biggest issue was with regard to the freeway noise. Very loud from my perspective.
Great location and team! Very clean, friendly staff. Reading some other reviews make me wonder, yes it's near a highway, the one you just got off of to stay the night... so ya you might hear some road noise. But that seems logical.... We on other hand did not hear much noise at all. The train runs behind, across the river, but that too we barely heard, but was also kinda neat to see it travel by. Restrooms clean, little store with snacks, Beer, Coffee counter, and a few slot machines! Kudos to this little RV park!!
This park is under new ownership and it is evident that they are making improvements. There is an “uphill” section that seems to be primarily for overnight or less permanent guests and a “downhill” section that has more permanent residents. We stayed in the “uphill” section. The bathrooms were nice - seemed to be newly remodeled (fresh paint, tiles, etc.) and had nice showers. Unfortunately, that’s where the new renovations seemed to stop. The “uphill” section was sparsely occupied but there were piles of old dog poop in many parts as well as broken equipment (toppled site marker, electrical cover not on box, extremely loose connections). It felt uncared for (besides the bathroom) and was generally a disappointment. This park offered itself as a “Good Sam” member - I’m not sure what that means but I assumed it meant the environment would be better than this was. The positives: nice people, nice bathrooms. Perhaps the new owners will continue to make improvements but until then I would pass.
This is a nice little RV park for an overnight stay. Rate was reasonable...space was clean, the freeway noise didn't really bother us. Little dog park for our 3 to stretch their legs. It's obvious that they are making improvements. we would stay there again.
