Greendale Campground is ideal for campers seeking a small and peaceful camping experience in a scenic setting. The spacious campsites and clean vault toilets are positive aspects. However, campers must be prepared for the lack of running water and potential dust issues. It's advisable to bring your own water and be aware of the shade variability among sites. Hammock campers should consider alternative sleeping arrangements. The campground is best suited for those who appreciate a quiet, less crowded environment and are comfortable with basic camping conditions.

This cg is very nice, only 8 sites and every other one is either reserved or FF. No water (water system seems is not functioning 6-2931) but vault toilets are open. Dusty dirt road adjacent to the CG that goes over to a pvt RV park may be an issue for sites close to that side. Dumpster on site. Cell signal good. Only 4 stars due to water system not working, otherwise 5 stars. NOTE that the GREENDALE GROUP CAMPGROUND is across the hwy and is a different camp unit from this Greendale Campground which is all single family sites
Solid campground. Bathrooms were in good condition and there was enough space between campsites that it felt private enough. Some of the sites have more trees than others; the one we used only had a couple of big trees, so there wasn't much shade. Would not recommend sleeping in a hammock. One, cuz of the lack of sturdy trees and two, cuz it can get pretty cold and windy at night. There is a fire pit onsite, as well as a spigot and a dumpster for trash by the bathroom.
Your run of the mill camp ground with pit toilets/picnic tables/fire pit w/grill/potable water spigot/trash dumpster. No RV hook ups. Well maintained. Right next door to camp store/resort and watergear rental. We come back every year to this place :-) No complaints.
It’s a great place to go camping, super secluded and has a pretty night sky. Highly recommend!
Idyllic little place, a lot of space between the sites, no amenities or hookups - but if you come prepared, that should not be a problem... Much nicer than the rv park next to it, and cheaper...
