We really enjoyed the lake. The campground was nice, but we reserved site #009 because the map showed this site to be on the lake. It was NOT. In was on the inside of the loop. We had some shade at our site, which was good as the sun is very intense. Other sites have no shade. if you want to camp nearest the lake, select sites #7 or #8. Please note, some of the photos of Greens Lake on Google do NOT depict the actual lake. These are the pics of the REAL Greens Lake.

Great campground. Sites scattered under pines. Managed by a contractor and host onsite. $22/ $11 senior. Lake is non-motorized paddle craft only and a catch n release via permission from the adjacent Red Canyon Lodge. Water spigots scattered around, dumpsters, and vault toilets. Cell signal was good for verizon, att, TMobile. Some sites can be reserved and others are FF. Total of 19 sites and one group site. Campground loop road is a bit patchy and has some potholes.

At ANY given time of the day…. No toilet paper in the ladies restrooms. I was a camp host. That never happened on my watch. Seriously…. The last log in was on May 10! It’s the 1st of June.

Greens Lake Campground was peaceful, clean, scenic and not busy. Plenty of fresh water and the bathrooms were clean. Easy walk to Red Canyon lodge store and restaurant. Only downsides would be the lake is an extra charge of $5/day to fish (because it’s owned by Red Canyon Lodge) and the multiple potholes in the road. But on the plus side of that it does slow people down.

Nice campground. Normally has space. Beautiful view of lake. The last time we went there was no camp host and that caused a bit of confusion as sites weren't updated daily.
