Customer Reviews
Place is kept up decently well with plenty of spots plus access to the Madison River. All sites have a fire pit and picnic tables. Like other reviews have said, there is not much shelter or shade in this area and is typically windy. Plenty of firewood around and multiple bathrooms.
Stayed one night in June. Rained quite a bit but the sunsets here are amazing. River is a stones throw and the grounds were t full (maybe 2 or 3 others). Two put toilets, clean and plenty of TP. Spots are flat and large enough for big rigs. 2 bars 4G LTE on verizon. 45 minutes when coming from Bozeman and 30 from hwy 90 at Missouri headwaters state park (95%gravel road but not bad)
Off the highway far enough you can't hear it! Toilet is clean and fully stock with TP... no one in campground except us. 18$$$ a night
Nice place, heavily used but a lot better than many commercial campgrounds. Keep it clean and pack out your own trash.
Nice place, usually enjoy staying here. Busy during the weekend, lots of coming and going. Lots of dogs which is ok with me, I have two which are always on runners or a leash. Bad experience yesterday when a local man who likes to run his dog along the campgrounds threatened to shoot and kill one of my dogs. His dog ran a little close to mine and mine broke her leash and ran after his. He said he does this everyday but I don't think that makes it ok. I pay to stay there and if his dog wasn't running free there wouldn't be a problem. Trying to contact someone about this. I'm worried about my dogs getting hurt. Very upsetting!
