This places beauty hasn’t changed one bit. It’s been well over a decade since I was last here and it’s still gorgeous and well looked after. The road coming in is paved, curvy, and maintained. Lots of hiking trails around these sites and areas to camp. This is a glorious spot to get out of towns heat and up into shadow of the pines. Highly recommend 5/5. There are fees to camp with horses clearly posted based on the honor system. (Look for posted signage.)

Beautiful place to go camping with your horses!!! But they do only provide one permanent stall per campsite. So if you bring two horses you either have to tie them on the high line or bring your own corral! 😞 The trails in the area are absolutely beautiful!!!

This really is just a beautifully kept horse camp! Stalls, high ties, water, picnic tables, fire pit, all comes with each camp site and for such a reasonable fee. They even provide muck forks and wheel barrels along with thick trash bags to dispose of horse manure! The hosts are wonderful and are always available to chat about anything camp related. The trails couldn't be better! We see deer almost every time we go ...in our camp and on the trail! It is just fantastic! Most of the campers are respectful and do their part in keeping the camp clean. We all want to keep coming to this beautiful camp so everyone happily does their part!
