Just down the road from where our hiking tour is leaving from. Nicely set up with full service at all sites. We only had a tent and was given a nice site where we could tuck in our tent. Cooking shelters with sinks and a kettle! Showers and washrooms very clean. Reasonable rates for laundry as well.
I highly recommend this campground. It is one of the most nicest campgrounds we visit in a long time…. We were in the private zone where you have grass and a lot of space. The site is very well maintained as well as washrooms, showers and laundromat.
We stayed here several nights while exploring the area and Gros Morne National Park. The campground has three areas with sites - See Campground Map in photos: Area A: Sites 1 - 16 Next to office and main entrance Area B: Sites 17 - 35 In the back, more private, some grass Area C: Sites 38 - 75 In gravel "parking lot" type area We were in the parking lot area. This did give us views of the mountains, but we would have preferred one of the sites in back, but they weren't available. The site was level, close to neighbors, had a picnic table, good utilities and typically decent wi-fi. We had a full hook-up, back-in site, #58. This part of the campground wasn't very populated the first few nights we were there, which made it nice. Then a caravan came in making it a bit cramped. Still, a decent place to stay while in the area.
Heather and Lloyd are amazing. The cleanest, prettiest campground we have stayed in. Bathrooms are immaculate and the area is well kept….Lloyd is constantly puttering around keeping it clean with pride!
Absolutely amazing!! The camp sites where very clean and beautiful, well designed as ours and the ones we could see were all very private but spacious. I 100% would recommend this place to anybody and definitely will be coming back many times over the next coming years. 5 stars all day!!!
